This sunroom was designed as a quiet retreat for the father of the home — a place where he could slow down, sit comfortably, and enjoy his daily cup of tea. Inspired by travels earlier in my life, particularly time spent visiting Bedouin hosts in Israel who welcomed us into their warm, dimly lit tents for tea and conversation, I wanted the space to capture that same sense of intimacy and hospitality while still reflecting my client’s personality.
Rich textures, a slightly moodier palette, and carefully chosen decor were layered throughout the room to create a space that feels both cozy and meaningful, with pieces thoughtfully selected to reflect the client’s hobbies, interests, and beliefs.
